1 cup good quality shredded cheese: Cheddar, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Asiago, or a similar hard cheese should work well for this recipe.

Your favorite seasonings, to taste (optional). I used a mexican spice blend with cheddar cheese for a little extra kick!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Place cheese in small heaps on the lined baking sheets, taking care to leave a good amount of space between them.

Sprinkle with seasonings, if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 7 minutes.

Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before removing from the parchment paper (this allows them to crisp up).
