Hello and happy Fall! It’s crunch time here at the cabin – we’re working feverishly to finish the woodshed and then fill it with the 3-4 cords of split, seasoned wood that we will need to heat our cabin this fall/winter.
When we left off, we had a good, solid 2-tier foundation. Over the last month or so, we have made some great progress:

We’re SO close! All we need are the center stairs, corrugated roofing, a guttter and some pipe to carry the tarp “curtains” for the front. Roofing and pipe will be purchased. Everything else has been recycled from the former goat shed, and the scrap pile!
And you will see that we have not let the absence of these final improvements keep us from starting to fill it up! So far, so good… We’re hoping to get the roofing on this weekend.
We’re taking a poll: Which siding style do you prefer: the wider-spaced and varied left side or the more uniform and rustic right side? Let us know in the comments!

How cool that you could reuse most of the things….what and what a great shed this is going to be ! Awesome job 🙂 Can’t wait to the the end result!!
Cheers
